Dear SITE Mountain West, 

 

I am thrilled to serve alongside an incredible group of women serving on our 2025 board. For me, the highlight of being involved in SITE has been the unforgettable experiences and meaningful relationships that come from working together to create the best opportunities for connection and growth in our industry and chapter.

With 240 members, we’re proud to now be the 4th largest SITE chapter—a true testament to the dedication and passion of our members, the involvement of our committees, and the leadership of our outstanding Board of Directors. My hope is that we continue to uplift one another through membership, business opportunities, connections, and encouragement as our community grows even stronger.

In 2024, we achieved some remarkable milestones:

• Hosted 17 live events across our four-state region and 4 virtual events

• Held our first multi-day event in Vail, Colorado

• Launched our Sustainability Committee, led by Board Member, Inna Cramer

 

These accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible without the efforts of our board and committee members—thank you all! I’d especially like to thank Lisa Kincannon Cherry, whose dedication over the past five years has been instrumental in elevating our chapter and inspiring so many of us to get involved.

 

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re building on this momentum with exciting initiatives:

• Our multi-day event is back, this time in Park City! Huge thanks to Deanne Vigil, Heidi Stevenson, and Christie Pienaar for leading this effort, and to our Key Sponsors—Pendry Park City, Montage Deer Valley and Montage International, and Visit Park City—for their generous support.

• We’re launching a sustainability-focused event this spring in all four states—more details coming soon!

• We’ll continue our Holiday Give Back events in November and December. A special shoutout to our Arizona Holiday event, which raised $5,700 for HEAL. Thank you, Heather Husom, for your amazing efforts in Arizona over the past three years!

 

To our board, thank you for creating a chapter that is warm, engaging, and impactful. Together, we’re building a community we can all be proud of.
